Hi there, the Resource Manager app what comes with my Bold 9900 has deleted an app or something from my phone, it kept on popping up saying low on memory so, being annoyed I just pressed 'ok remove' to free up memory, even though my phone works fine! Not realising until I'd done it, that it kept selecting a GPS app or something (only a few kb in size) because it never got used, but i kinda worked out what it was for!so the thing is, now when i load maps up etc my location just bounces from here, there & everywhere, anyway i can fix this?ChrisSent from my BlackBerry 9900 using Tapatalk. We're all aware of yesterday's press release which stated that BB will refocus only on the enterprise and prosumer market with their services, software, hardware etc. The Internet Service is thus contrary of what BB wants to focus on because it's only used for the consumer market. Therefore I'm quite curious if they will keep supporting it (they did just release another BBOS device) or that as part of the refocus save money on this and abandoning the BIS service (BB10 devices don't even use BIS anymore and many BBOS devices are on BES anyway). Let me know what you guys think will happen. Through a series of unfortunate events and hardware failures, I've come to BBOS7 from an HTC One S.

In the form of a used Bold 9900.I do a lot of homework on the go, usually on my phone on my commute. Revising lab reports/essays etc. With my HTC, and my Z10. (I regret trading my Z10 for android) I could download, edit and reupload documents/presentations.On OS7 I can download and edit, I can't however find a way to upload the revised document to the cloud. It only will let my upload pictures. Any thoughts? ThanksSent from my CrackBerry 9900 using Tapatalk.
I am aware that my curve 9320's encryption is 'on' and i have two media cards that have files encrypted using my device's password. I recently did a security wipe on my phone but didn't include my media card on the process (one of them was inserted while doing the wiping).after my device is clean i set the same password for my device. I checked my media card, to my surprise pictures and other files are showing but cannot be opened.
I am getting this error when trying to rename files (to decrypt them):then i opened BB desktop Manager and try to decrypt them, again they are decrypted but the computer can't recognize the files. I tried inserting my other media card and it's working as usual, files are opened and can be decrypted.i don't know what to do anymore tried turn encryption on and off. But nothing's hppening. A family member of mine has a Curve 9360 running OS 7.1. It currently has one Gmail account synced as well as a business email account (uses Google as its server). The latter account is able to sync its calendar without issues, but the former doesn't sync anything. It was working at some point.I've tried unchecking and rechecking the calendar sync option, resending the service books, and rebooting the phone.
Uninstalling the Google sync app didn't help either. The last thing I haven't tried is removing the account entirely and then adding it back in again. I'm reluctant to do this since I previously lost contacts that weren't synced to Google, and many contacts are now duplicated from the last time a backup restore was done.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Posted via CB10. I upgraded my BB 7.0 to 7.1 and I found this problem. I tried inserting my friend's battery on my BB9360 once because my batt is empty. After chargin it, I used my own BB batt and it says 'Insert Sim Card - SOS'. I borrowed my friend's batt once again and it detects my network.
I replaced the batt with my own later and it worked well. After few weeks, I changed my sim card and the problem occured nce again. I returned my original sim card and nothing happens. My friend is not on my place anymore. What should i do? Hi, im kind if looking into my old stuff and I found my old BlackBerry 9360. I guess I wanted to give it a new life and load the latest OS on it, so can you help me out with these questions:1) im loading via BBSAK, is it true that is safe to load an OS even if its for a different Carrier?
Like I'm gonna use a Rogers OS Even if I'm using the phone in Asia? Cause I read that the are no difference if I do, is it true?2) what is the latest OS version for BlackBerry OS 7?3) If number 1 is true, what is the carrier that gives out the LATEST OS version? Is it Rogers? Because its in Canada?4) so I need the bb desktop manager or not when using bbsak?

I dont need to back up my phone by the wayMany thanks guysSent from my GT-N7105 using CB Forums mobile app. Hi,BB OS7 on 9320I managed to get Media Server feature working eventually, after changing the default name of the device from BlackBerry9320 to just BlackBerry. Until I did that, the phone was listed on the Network Media Devices on Windows 7, but on opening WIndows Media Player only showed Other Playlists and no content.I changed the name and it instantly worked, I could browse and play all my media. Then, after a few hours I tried again and.I get the same Other Playlists in Windows Media player, no access to device media. I tried changing the name again, reset router, reboot phone and notebook, etc but I can't get it to work anymore, what the hell?
